I haven't updated on my babies for a while so I have 2.
Beginning of this month, I went out and bought a 12" pot to move my basil and cilantro into as the smaller pots were getting too small.
I've also added to my porch a little bird that Brenda McCord gave me. It was to remind me of the time Jesus was speaking about the birds and how God provides and cares for them. How much more will he provide for us?
The move was pretty hard on my cilantro but they are getting accustomed to the new setup.
I then planted some more cilantro and basil (as those are the only seeds I have and Home Depot didn't have a big variety at the time) so I need to get some good recipes soon.

My cilantro and basil have sprouted. They are so fun because they come up so much every day that it's very fun to watch!
My flowers are growing as well but not as much or as fast so they don't get many updates. Here is a pic though. The seeds that I planted have been "sprouted" but haven't done anything exciting...
Mike and I went to a suburb called Elmhurst to have dinner with a guy I work with and his wife. They live right by a huge park and we had fun taking pics by the lake.
Dinner was fun with Mike, Jaime and I went on a short walk before dessert.
We walked, we hiked, we explored.
It was a very fun day.
The personalized item was SO CUTE!! It's a light pink lunch tin. I LOVE the "d" on the front with the flowers! Can't forget all of the fun ribbons on top! I think that I'm going to fill it with the sweet notes that Mike has given me.
